On 22nd of November 1963, worlds most powerful man John Fitzgerald Kennedy was shot dead in Texas. In his car he was publicly executed by a Gun man aiming the US President from a book depository. Today its been 47 years of his assasination and the main question comes in my mind is that the security of these leaders are enough to save them.
Inspite of millions of $ spend on US presidents security assasins are able to take out their target. Lee Harvey Oswald a communist and an alleged accused found in the presedential murder case was murdered by Jack Leon rubenstein an FBI agent before the accused was brought to the court. And unfortunately this assasination also took place in front of public, which I call ‘A Public Execution’. JFK’s murder in last 47 years had made many conspiracy theorist believe that this was an inside job and offcourse a big bussiness for those theorist to sell their books in the mainstream market. Untill an Attorney General of New Orleans named Jim Garrison challenged the FBI, CIA and the White House Administration by arresting Clay Burton who was an accused of JFK’s murder according to Garrisson. Ignoring single bullet theory and last shot in Zapruders Film, Warren Commission of 1963-1964 concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald was the one ho committed the crime.
Infact US presidents had a long history of assasinations, some escape from death and some came under the bullet. After any such act suspicion in the society was always at its peak. In 1963 there was a black revolution in US with Cold War with Russia and Cuban Missile crisis which gave the US president a never ending enemy like Fidel Castro. But there were many questions raised after JFK’s assasination whether leaders such as these are safe or not ?
Subjects like these are of a greater concern and has to be studied accurately to find out where does the system lacks which results in failures such as these. After Kennedys murder followed a series of assasinations of other great leaders world wide as well as in US. Malcolm X a black revolutuionary leader was killed in front of his family and the great Martin Luther King was also murdered after Malcolm X.
Many of India’s greatest leaders have been assasinated under these act of despair. Mahatma Gandhi whose hard work for peace and uplifment of society when couldnt be ignore by his followers was killed who generated hatred for him. Indira Gandhi who was murdered by his own bodyguards has made us to worry upon our choices. Though after the murder of Rajiv Gandhi who was also Publicly executed in an act of terror by LTTE had put a full stop on assasination such as these. Though these lined-up assasination could be any reason which has to be studied and researched deeply. Some conspiracy theorist say Cold-War and Greed was one big reason which leaded to these kind of a Lined-Up assasinations and Public Execution of their leader who were Selected, Elected and Loved by its people the most.
But its very simple assasination such as these are an act of individual despair anyone cant win a single heart by showing dissent by the means of violance.
