26/11 Victim Still In A Worst Condition

Afternoon Voice

26/11 has a tragic resonance on Shyamsuder R Chaudhary a 36 year old Parle factory worker who was on his way backto home on the horrifying night of 26/11 in Vile Parle east became a victim of Taxi Blast in which Taxi Driver also died. Its been two years since then Shyamsunder is lying on his bed in a small chawl in Vile Parle where he resides. When blast happened our house was shocked with those loud sounds due to which their window glass was also broken says Mrs Chaudhary. Shyamsunder has recovered a lot in last one year when he was discharged from KEM hospital where Dr's said he cant improve more, good thing is that shyamsunder is gaining memory as after the attack he was in paralysis due to which there were clotting in his brain also gunpowder has entered in his brain of that days blast,Due to which he cant speak or walk either.
Shyamsunder's has a big family of two sisters and two kids with mother & father and Mrs Chaudhary. Where Shyam is suffering from paralysis his younger sister Sujata is working hard to run their family by working shifts in telemarketing company as a sole earner of the family.
Though Shyamsunder was given money from the central government and state government for rehabilitation around 1.5lakh which is not enough for his medication says Mrs Chaudhary. Even after no positive signs shown to Mrs Chaudhary by KEM hospital, Mrs Chaudhary wants him to take to Pune for Homeopathy to Dr Natraj Dravid who says can help in Shyam in his paralysis and blood clotting.
Though Shyamsunder was on job with parle company when he went through this trauma, therefore Mrs Chaudhary is liable to get a job in parle's packaging department who are not ready to give her a job. when we tried to contact Mr S H Rane the manager of Packaging department Parle company he was not available for his comment. "No one except Krishnakant Hegde MLA of Vile Parle is even bothered to talk to us or ask that under what condition do we live and how do we survive" says Mrs Chaudhary also she added that if got a chance she will approach Mr Narayan Rane our Home Minister for help.
